Tour DeGRIM
Some of the local MV riders went on a little ride known as the GRIM. Located primarily in Groton with a possible border crossing into Ayer this ride throws a bit of everything at the rider.

We start out on some sweet singletrack known as the Energizer because it goes on and on for about 2 1/2 miles.

After leaving the singletrack we transition to the tough loose climbs under the power lines.

Lets wait and regroup.

Nice view on top in all directions.

After a short stretch on the road, we get to this tough grassy hill climb on Groton conservation lands.

After a short stretch on the road we enter a tree farm / conservation area. This is rolling singletrack not too technical.

Go figure. Blowndown across the trail. We just can't seem to get away from this stuff. Hope nobody's looking!

We finally get to the part of the ride known as the actual GRIM.

Some tough sections here going up and down. Not unusual to see someone off the bike on these sections.

The GRIM dumps us out under the same power lines we took going in. Now we have some fast sketchy downhills to get us back to the cars.
This grassy climb is a tough grind in the granny gear.

Can't quite see the top from this angle.

Regroup and take in the view from the top.

Now there's a fast downhill on the other side.

One by one we come down the back side.

Now its Stuarts turn.
